Vehicle tuning company CEO wins prestigious environment award
Paul Busby of Viezu Technologies has been named as the Chief Executive Officer of the Year at The 2013 People and Environment Achievement Business Awards in London.
The joint founder of one of the world’s leading vehicle tuning companies collected the prestigious award which recognised his individual endeavours in helping reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

Award Winning Fuel saving services – BlueOptimize Fuel Economy Tuning.
Viezu are delighted to announce that our Fleet Fuel Economy tuning service BlueOptimize has won the FleetNews Cost saving initiative of the year 2013. During 2012 Viezu tuned the BT Fleet of 24,000 vans, the joint “Fuel Save” project was a combination of Viezu’s award winning fuel economy tuning, and BT’s network of 65 maintenance depots.
The FleetNews award is one of the largest and most respected motor industry awards on the annual calendar. The night really looked like a who’s who of the Fleet industry; the evening was also real show of strength as over 1500 guests and Fleet industry professionals gathered for one of the biggest networking evenings of the year, complete with celebrity guests and entertainment.
The focus and highlight of the evening was the announcement of the Fleet News Awards, and for the first time Viezu and our Fleet fuel tuning services were entered for an award, Fleet News Cost Saving Initiative 2013, an award which BT Fleet were delighted to be presented on the night for the installation of Viezu’s fuel saving tuning and remapping, a tuning project that is saving BT Fleet over £4m per year on fuel.

Global first for aftermarket tuner: Viezu ISO Certification
Viezu Technologies, one of the world’s leading and fastest growing aftermarket vehicle tuning and ECU remapping company’s, has achieved a global industry first by becoming fully ISO 9001 certified
The news comes hot on the heels of an official audit which confirmed that Viezu met all the stringent quality criteria to be bestowed the prestigious internationally recognised standard.
Paul Busby, CEO, Viezu, said: “To be the first car engine tuning company in the world to achieve ISO 9001 is great news for Viezu and our customers. It clearly demonstrates our on-going commitment to producing high-quality, market leading products backed up by a first class after sales support.
“Of course, customers of Viezu approved dealers already had the confidence of knowing that all of our products are fully insured, with a money back guarantee, but this independent accolade gives an extra reassurance and is proof of the highest standards we maintain.”
Although nearly all the strict processes were already in place before embarking on ISO certification almost four years ago, Viezu has also substantially invested in new equipment and staff training to ensure it reached the stringent management processes required.
The news also means that Viezu approved dealers can say that the processes and development use to produce the electronic files, (ECU Remapping files) they use are ISO compliant, a strong reassurance to customers who previously may have been reluctant to have had their car retuned.
To achieve ISO 9001 status Viezu demonstrated to The British Standards Institution (BSI) that they had rigid quality management systems in place, including their Technical Training Academy, www.remap101.com (Viezu’s in house car tuning training and car tuning software training centre), thorough staff training, processes for new product development and implementation, and even how they interface with customers.
Paul added: “Although ISO certification benefits our business, we also have the aim of lifting the industry standard and hope other car tuning companies follow suit.
“This award is also particularly important for our Special Projects Team, who already work with a number of car manufacturers, and after market tuning providers helping them to meet increasingly stringent emissions legislation without any sacrifice to performance. This gives a further ‘stamp of approval’ and makes our services and products even more attractive to other vehicle manufacturers.”
Only recently Viezu doubled the size of its technical team and appointed a general manager as a result of the unprecedented demand for its services.

For those that know a little about tuning, you may recognise it as torque map, you will see its been very badly modified, its really terrible, boasting a 165% increase! But in fact this is a limp home” torque map – and that it was clearly modified by a poor tuner who did not know his alterations were being copied onto all the torque maps on the car possibly one of the worst files we have ever seen

Commercial Vehicle Show – Viezu Fleet Tuning and Fleet Remapping for Fuel economy.
This week the Viezu team have been exhibiting at the UK NEC Commercial Vehicle Show. Viezu have been show casing our Fleet tuning and ecu remap services for fleet fuel saving and fuel economy tuning services.
Fresh on the back of completing the BT van fleet of 24,000 vehicles all tuned by Viezu for fuel economy and fuel saving, there were lots of questions from fleet operators and van users to understand what Viezu remapping and fuel saving tuning could deliver. Talk of the town was the recent completion of the tuning of the BT van fleet, at times Viezu were undertaking the BT van tuning at the rate of over 300 a day, no other tuning and remap provider has ever undertaken such a task, the “fuel save tuning” project was delivered on time, on target and has exceeded the fuel savings and fuel economy improvements projected, furthermore not only has Viezu’s fuel economy tuning won a number of awards, but our tuning project with BT recently won the FleetNews Cist saving initiative of the year too you can see more on the award here: http://www.viezu.com/viezu-blog
