TWO Worcestershire businessmen face a tense final wait to find out if they have been successful in the 2012 Midlands Business Awards.
The judges’ verdict will be revealed at a gala awards ceremony on Friday night at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham, where celebrity chef Alan Coxon and company boss Paul Busby will be among 47 finalists competing in nine categories, which bring together the best of Midlands business.
Evesham-based Mr Coxon’s business, Coxon’s Kitchen, has been shortlisted in the Midlands Exporter of the Year category, while he is also among the contenders for the Midlands Entrepreneur of the Year title – a category for which Mr Busby, from Bromsgrove, is also in the running.
The chef, TV presenter, author and food archaeologist’s love of culinary history helps to bring alive the historic originations of everyday ingredients and he has been exporting products using Roman recipes to Italy.
Mr Busby and his business Viezu Technology are potentially in line for a hat-trick of awards.
The firm is a world leader in vehicle tuning; its programming files and products have been developed over 20 years of hands-on experience and tested both in the lab and on the road.
It is down to the final five in the Midlands Exporter of the Year and chief executive Mr Busby has gone through to the final for the Innovation and the Entrepreneur of the Year categories.

Car tuning in Ohio USA – ECU remapping courses and car tuning classes from Viezu
We are very pleased to announce for the first time the Viezu Technical Academy will be holding our award winning ECU remapping, vehicle and car tuning training courses onsite in Ohio, USA.
Through the Viezu Technical Academy courses you can learn the art of vehicle tuning. The award winning Viezu Technical training team will take you step by step through the art of writing custom tuning OE ECU files, tuning for performance, Co2 reduction, motorsport and vehicle modifications.
The car tuning training will take place at the fantastic Mustang Dynamometer manufacturing centre, and of course focus feature dyno tuning and training on their great range of dynos. Included in the training will be such tuning programs for Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, VW, Mercedes, Audi and many more.
The training will take place 26th – 29th April 2012

New Man on the Bridge!
As we start the New Year, a year which will continue to see Viezu grow and the introduction of a number of business improvements, we would like to formally announce the appointment of our new General Manager Alasdair Maclachlan.
Alasdair joins us with a wealth of experience in Sales, Marketing and Aftersales, gained throughout a career in the Automotive industry. Alasdair will be responsible for the day to day running of Viezu, ensuring consistent and industry leading dealer support.
2012 is set to be very exciting, we have new shows booked, a great new range of Dynos and rolling roads from Mustang, a new web site, too many new products, services, and vehicle coverage to list and a whole stack of awards we are nominated for in the coming months. Not to mention ISO accreditation. So it looks like Alasdair is going to have his hands full!
We are sure you’ll agree Alasdair’s appointment demonstrates Viezu’s continued growth and is the first step in 2012’s continual progression. Please join us in welcoming Alasdair to the Viezu family.

We are already well under way with our 2012 plans, which will include some amazing new tuning products, covering new cars, a new fantastic range of rolling roads for sale, a brand new website, with more information than ever before. We have lost of new development vehicles lined up and we have just recruited 3 new staff, so the team is stronger than ever, offering better customer and dealer support
In February we hope to be the first ISO registered tuning company, and we are up for a whole host of new Awards too.

This Saturday saw the Viezu and Chrysler 300C Dyno and tuning day, and boy was it a good day. Viezu already has a great reputation for tuning and remapping the Chrysler 300c, so now it was time to open our doors and have some fun
The 300c is a great great car to tune, with the diesel delivering almost 100 additional bhp. The Guys were a really nice bunch, enthusiastic and right into their tuning, many opting for the Viezu V-switch, allowing self tuning and the option of 3 different settings.
The Mustang Dyno performed faultlessly, and offered the guys a chance to test their ¼ mile driving skills and performance.

Chrysler 300c Tuning and ECU Remapping
Wow – what a fab day today tuning Chrysler 300C’s, how often can you boost a cars performance by 30%! And not affect fuel economy or reliability
Today we were joined by Tim, Miles, Simon, Rocco and Paul, from the 300c owners club, seriously nice guys and seriously tuneable cars.
Now if honest many are in two minds about the Chrysler 300c, it looks nice, but is it the real deal or a USA muscle car wanabe with no teeth?
If you are s sceptic hold that thought, once you really get up close and take a good look the 300c is a pretty serious beast, you instantly start to understand why they have such a following. What is immediately obvious is the 300c has real presents, it simply dominates our dyno room once loaded, and through strapped down with 6 x 15 ton industrial straps, as the power starts to load up, the room turns electric, for the first time in a very long time we find ourselves double checking the straps and mountings, thoughts of King Kong breaking loose spring to mind, and thats because quite simply – it’s a bit of an animal.
The standard factory tune is nothing short of the nightdress covering little red ridding hood ‘s “bed bound” wolf, its struggling to hide the beast straining to be released. And that is exactly what our technical team set about doing.
We spent the day with the guys developing and refining a range of tuning files taking account of a number of existing modifications – these 300c’s fly ! 215bhp stock to over 303bhp in one tuning map – better hold on that is one serious power gain. It was a good day – great power and good fun – our Chrysler ball sees a dyno day coming soon …..cant wait………..lets release the power………

Alien Tech ECM and Alien Tech Kess Car Tuning Training
The Viezu training academy has now developed new training and support packages for car tuning dealers who use the Alien Tech ECM and Alien Tech Kess Car tuning software. The Viezu academy now offer vehicle tuning courses and ECU remapping classes based on the Alien tech tuning software. Alien Tech ECM and Alien Tech Kess Car tuning software and Genius OBD tuning tools are probably the most popular on the market today.

Dimsport Genius Car tuning Software Training and Support
