To kick off Viezu Technologies Land Rover focused month of March, than a Land Rover dyno Day.
We held a Land Rover dyno day on behalf of IRB Developments. This was an open day for Land Rover enthusiasts, it was open to all years and models to come down and run their vehicle on the dyno. These Land Rover enthusiasts are regular people, just a little more passionate about their Land Rovers, some have had their Land Rovers tuned and Range Rovers remapped to offer better power, throttle response, torque delivery etc.
The Range Rover tuning and dyno day through up a lot of surprises with a number of Land Rovers that had been tuned elsewhere, claiming much higher figures than the vehicle was actually was producing in the cold light of day.
The Mustang MD 500 AWD dyno that we use, is a harsh mistress, and many a claimed BHP figure has been shown to have fallen well short of the mark when run on the dyno and the true figures are shown. This dyno is one of the most accurate dyno’s on the market and is the reason Viezu Technologies can be sure of the quality of Land Rover remaps and Range Rover Tuning that we offer, is of the highest calibre.
The day was an enjoyable one for all with the highlight of the day for most people being the ‘custard yellow’, 1965 built, series 2 defender. A grand total of 37hp! What a machine.

Combat fuel duty rise with Blue Optimize – Fuel Economy Tuning and Remapping
BT is just one company that is beating rising fuel prices by remapping its fleet of 24,000 vehicles
Fleet operators, businesses and private motorists worried about the prospect of even higher fuel bills in the New Year following the impending 3p fuel duty rise, can combat any hike in prices with Blue Optimize, a revolutionary engine remap service from Viezu.
Offering up to 20 per cent improvements in fuel economy, the award-winning ECU remapping service has been developed to rigorous ISO 9001 standards and can potentially save companies and fleet operators thousands of pounds in fuel bills.

Viezu has been awarded again, this time by Nectar Business
This week Viezu Technologies has been awarded winner of the ‘Best Use of Technology’ in the Nectar Business Awards 2012.
The Nectar Business Awards, now in their fourth year, award particular achievements to some of the UK’s small businesses, ranging from Innovation of the Year to International Trader of the Year. They are selected by a panel of experienced judges which this year included Karen Brady, leading UK business woman and star of BBC1’s The Apprentice.

Car Tuning software and ECU Remapping – make the right choice
The Viezu Training Academy is very busy at the moment with ECU remapping course and car tuning training . If you are interested in car tuning there are number of ways of getting onto tuning and ecu remapping.
The easiest and cheapest way is to take a “client” tuning system, this links you to a file writer and so you don’t have to write your own files. Its quick and easy and you can be tuning with just a few hours of free training. But you can’t use it to write your own files, simply supply those being written for you, many tuning companies operate like this and it does have some advantages, if you are looking for a quick start we can arrange this for you very easily.

Alternatively you can chose to learn to write tuning files and operate what is known as a master tuning system, the advantage here is that with training and time you can become a master file writer, writing your own software and offering a very custom service, master tuning tools do tend to be more expensive though and will need more in depth training to operate.

ECU Remapping and car tuning for better fuel economy
Turn on your radio or TV and it will not be long before you are offered an ecu remap, but it’s likely to be ecu remapping in disguise. It’s true, nearly all vehicle manufactures are now offering ecu remapping and car tuning for improved fuel economy, better MPG and even carbon reduction. These services have nice product names like blue motion, blue efficiency, blue injection, and kinetically tuned, etc, but by any other name this is a remap of the vehicles ecu to make it run differently, in most cases to give the vehicle better MPG and better fuel economy.
