Viezu are delighted to announce that our Fleet Fuel Economy tuning service BlueOptimize has won the FleetNews Cost saving initiative of the year 2013. During 2012 Viezu tuned the BT Fleet of 24,000 vans, the joint “Fuel Save” project was a combination of Viezu’s award winning fuel economy tuning, and BT’s network of 65 maintenance depots.
The FleetNews award is one of the largest and most respected motor industry awards on the annual calendar. The night really looked like a who’s who of the Fleet industry; the evening was also real show of strength as over 1500 guests and Fleet industry professionals gathered for one of the biggest networking evenings of the year, complete with celebrity guests and entertainment.
The focus and highlight of the evening was the announcement of the Fleet News Awards, and for the first time Viezu and our Fleet fuel tuning services were entered for an award, Fleet News Cost Saving Initiative 2013, an award which BT Fleet were delighted to be presented on the night for the installation of Viezu’s fuel saving tuning and remapping, a tuning project that is saving BT Fleet over £4m per year on fuel.

BT Fleet’s cost saving initiative is head shoulders above its competition. The saving are of a mind blowing scale and its research provides the proof and reassurance for other fleets that engine remapping works and is safe. One fact stands out: the annual CO2 savings equate to removing 1,300 taxis from the road. An outstanding and long-term sustainable success.

Viezu Dealer Training and Support – Dealer Seminars 2012
Thursday saw the most recent of our dealer seminars, this year rather than one large seminar for all Viezu dealers, we have chosen to hold smaller group sessions, taking the format of workshops rather than formal presentations, the sessions focus on support, sales, product presentation, marketing and very importantly fleet tuning and B2B customers
We had a good day with some of our best dealers, we often feel tuning can be quite a “remote” business, so it’s always so good to meet our dealers and for them to meet each other to share ideas and work together. We treat tuning very seriously, and we know car tuning dealers need the very best support, the best tuning tools and equipment and to be up to speed with the very fast paced tuning industry – we love these days and we hope all that attended had a great time

Fuel Economy Tuning, C02 Reduction and Fleet Management
This week the Viezu Tech Guys were asked to demonstrated our vehicle economy tuning, and open it up for independent testing and scrutiny – we of course have no problem with our working being tested, in the past a number of customers and special project clients have need to undertake independant testing and scrutiny of our tuning.
We are very confident of our economy, c02 reduction and fuel saving tuning, so its always a pleasure and interesting to take part in trials.
This week we were at the famous Millbrook proving ground, where our tuning was tested in combination on the high speed bowl, 40 and 60mph, and on the city circuit – total testing 2hours continuous driving
Fuel was weighed, measured and mpg calculated, the vehicle was already speed limited so the challenge was set to see how much further we could improve the fuel saving and MPG after speed limiting.
The results:
31.38mpg before tuning
34.88mpg after tuning
11.2% additional fuel saving on a vehicle already adapted for fuel economy and improved MPG.
