Worldwide First – New Range Rover TDV8 4.4 diesel tuning and ECU Remapping
Once again we have been tuning Range Rovers this week, for those following our work you will know we recently redeveloped our 5.0 Range Rover Vogue and 5.0 Range Rover Sport tuning with great results, 554bhp! This week it was time for the brand new the Range Rover 4.4 tdv8 – this was to be the first Range rover tdv8 4.4 tuned anywhere that we know of.
The Range Rover 4.4 diesel was tested as standard first and then the tuning file was developed and tested over 4 days on Viezu’s state of the art 3000bhp environmentally controlled dyno and rolling road. The results were simply stunning!
The 4.4 Range Rover produced 300bhp as standard and a rather impressive 370bhp after Viezu ecu remapping and tuning development. Tuning of the Range Rover TDV8 also delivers an additional 145bls of torque – enough to pull your house down!
The ECU remap also removes the vehicles speed limiter as well, completely transforming the power and driving of the heavy Range Rover, and giving it true sports car performance for a TDV8 Range Rover.
